Meet Our Founder
Afsana Ahmadi is an Afghan education advocate, a UN youth voice, and the founder of Amanah Foundation. A former member of the Afghan Girls Robotics Team (Afghan Dreamers), she has represented Afghan girls on international stages, including the United Nations LDC5 Conference, Doha Debate, and global youth forums, advocating for education and opportunity.
After leaving Afghanistan and continuing her studies in Government and International Politics in the United States, Afsana founded Amanah Foundation to expand access to education, mentorship, and advocacy for Afghan girls and families facing barriers to opportunity. Through Amanah, she has been working to amplify the voices of Afghan girls globally and build pathways for leadership, education, and empowerment.

WHAT WE DO
Empowering Through Education
Amanah Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating tangible change in the lives of Afghan girls and their families. We provide hands-on support for scholarship applications, personal statement guidance, and online learning resources to help girls succeed academically and professionally.
In addition, we assist Afghan families facing financial hardship by delivering timely aid during crises. Through advocacy and global engagement, Amanah amplifies the voices of Afghan girls and expands access to education, leadership opportunities, and hope for the future.
